God’s Squad wurde in den späten 60er Jahren in Sydney/Australien unter der Leiterschaft von John Smith aufgebaut. 1972 wurde der Club dann in Melbourne gegründet und seitdem weht die Fahne (Colour) des Clubs. Der Club hat es sich zum Ziel gesetzt, vor allem in der 1%er Szene und deren Umfeld zu arbeiten. Dort wollen wir eine anerkannte Form der christlichen Kirche sein und das Christentum zeitgemäß vertreten. Seit den Anfängen aus der Gegenkultur des „Jesus Movements“ in den späten 60er Jahren, also seit über vier Jahrzehnte, arbeiten wir mit Leidenschaft für Menschen, die am Rande der Gesellschaft leben.
